Join the Saskatchewan Association of Watersheds and the Southwest Watershed District Advisory Committee to learn practical approaches to land and resource management that can help build healthier, more resilient Saskatchewan landscapes. Learn how proactive land management practices can help protect Saskatchewan’s landscapes, agricultural operations, and communities.
We will explore the benefits of prescribed burning and FireSmart techniques, including how these practices can:
- Renew and improve vegetation
- Increase pasture productivity
- Reduce wildfire risk
- Support healthy, resilient ecosystems
- Protect agricultural land and rural communities
Our workshop will also highlight efforts to manage feral wild boar, an invasive species that poses a growing threat to Saskatchewan’s environment, agriculture, and rural communities.
