SWEAP Early Adopter Field Day

Join SAW to see cover crops in action at Adam and Darla Knutson’s ranch near Wapella, SK. This one day event begins at the Wapella Rink and will offer updates on SAW programming and education on the use of cover cropping as well as the use of drones for seeding marginal acres. After lunch, there will be a field tour to see how the Knutson’s incorporate cover cropping on their farm, to improve soil health, provide a valuable source for feed and use these cover crop acres to reduce pressure on perennial pastures, as well as corn grazing, swath grazing and remote watering systems.
